A seating maker in the chair county of China
Zhejiang Wanchang Furniture (WSC) has built chairs and solid-wood furniture in Anji, Zhejiang since 2005, with a second plant in Vietnam. Design, timber, upholstery and assembly run under our own roof.
Anji is to chairs what other counties are to ceramics or textiles — the timber yards, fabric mills, foam cutters and hardware makers all sit within a short drive. We've been part of that since 2005, and it's the quiet reason a factory here can hold a wide range and still quote sharply.
The numbers, plainly. The Anji site runs about 70,000 m² of industrial park plus an 80,000 m² intelligent production and storage building, with 500-plus people. The Vietnam plant in Binh Phuoc adds roughly 18,000 m² and 250-plus staff. That second base isn't a slogan — it's there so a buyer facing a tariff or a country-of-origin rule has somewhere to move proven models without changing the spec.
We were, for a period, listed on China's NEEQ board (the National Equities Exchange, stock code 872626); that listing has since been terminated, so we're a private company today — we mention it only because buyers sometimes find the old record and ask. What hasn't changed is the focus: chairs and the wood that holds them up, made for export rather than for a domestic showroom.
